This CIU (customer interface unit) is designed for users of split prepaid electricity meters. It can communicate with the meter through M-Bus/RF, which can input short codes to recharge the meter and query consumption or balance and some other parameters. It complies the STS (Standard Transfer Specification) Standard for data encryption and decryption with high data security. This CIU can help the Utility company build smart home and AMI system easily.
