Standardize The Installation Wiring And Technology Of The Metering Device Of The Electric Energy Meter

Dec 20, 2021|

Standardizing the installation and wiring of electric energy metering devices is an effective means to prevent metering errors.

First, the secondary circuit of the electric energy metering device should meet the technical requirements: for high-voltage TA wiring, simplified wiring should not be used, and split-phase wiring should be used, that is, three-phase three-wire two TAs are connected with 4 wires, and three-phase system three TAs are connected with 6 Root wire connection.

For low-voltage ones, simplified wiring is still used, that is, three-phase three-wire and 2 TAs are connected by incomplete star connection and connected by 3 wires; three-phase four-wire and 3 TAs are connected by star method and connected by 4 wires.

Secondly, when the TV secondary voltage line is connected with a cable, generally four cores are used, one core is used as a spare, and the TV secondary circuit is calculated as the cost of 35kV. The auxiliary contact of the isolating switch should not be installed, but the fuse should be installed; 35kV The secondary circuit of charging TV of and below shall not be equipped with auxiliary contacts and fuses of isolating switch; users of 35kV and below shall have special metering transformers; users of 35kV and above shall have special secondary circuits for TA and TV, which shall not be connected with protection and measurement The loop is shared.

It is best to use yellow, green, and red phase color wires for the secondary circuit connection wires, and use black wires for the neutral wires, and there should be no joints in the middle of the wires. The wire connection is a screw crimping type. When the screw is crimped, the wire end should be bent in the same direction as the screw tightening direction.

Pay attention to the following requirements for the standard installation and wiring of electric energy meters

1. The live wire and neutral wire of the electric energy meter should use wires of different colors and enter the holes in the same number, and must not be reversed.

2. The neutral wire of the electric energy meter must pass through the meter through the meter connection hole, and it is not allowed to connect a neutral wire to the electric meter separately on the main wire.

3. When the wire passes through the metal disc, a protective ring or plastic tube should be used, and the plastic meter box should be made of flame-retardant material.

4. The distance between the electric energy meter is not less than 80mm, the distance from the screen edge is not less than 40mm, and the inclination of the electric energy meter (front and back, left and right) shall not exceed 1°.

5. The neutral point zero line of the three-phase user's three-element electric meter or three single-phase electric meters should be connected in the metering box. It is forbidden to connect it from outside the metering box, nor can it be shared with the zero line of other single-phase electric meters.

6. Three-phase users of electric energy meters must have installation wiring diagrams, and construct strictly according to the diagrams. All positive phase sequence wiring shall be adopted. The lead and paint seals of the meters and meter boxes shall be carefully completed. The wiring shall be sealed in time after the end of the meter is connected. The box cover, and try to reduce the reserved length of the wire in and out of the electric meter.

7. The voltage auxiliary line of the low-voltage three-phase electric energy meter should be crimped from the sealable place on the upper side of the electric energy meter to prevent users from adjusting the voltage phase sequence privately and causing measurement errors.

8. Under the premise of implementing the standardized installation and construction technology of the electric energy metering device, conduct a hexagonal diagram test and phasor analysis after operation to ensure the correct wiring of the electric energy metering device
